Bulk SMS API documentation

Send SMS from your website, app or system to any Tanzanian number. Create a Bulk SMS API key in Bulk SMS Studio → API & Developers after signing in.

Quick start

Endpoint: https://astrapanel.site/api/public/v1/sms

Send your key in the x-api-key header. Limit: 60 requests per minute. Keep the key on your server only.

Actions

sendPOST

Send or schedule an SMS to up to 1,000 numbers.

recipients: Required. Array or comma-separated list. 07…, 06…, 2557… accepted
message: Required. 1–1,000 characters (160 per part, 70 with emoji)
sender_id: Optional. Your approved Sender ID, default ASTRAPANEL
sms_type: Optional. transactional (default), promotional or otp
scheduled_at: Optional. ISO date 2 minutes to 90 days ahead

Error codes

400Missing or invalid fields / no valid numbers

401Missing or wrong Bulk SMS API key

402Not enough SMS credits or balance

403Key inactive or Sender ID not approved

429More than 60 requests per minute

502SMS network failed — charge refunded
